Knocked down

I haven't been feeling well since Sunday morning and I'm still feeling crappy.  I rested all day Sunday, left work early on Monday, called out yesterday and left early today.  Still feeling very achy and tired.  My miles will definitely be down this week!  Hopefully I will be able to get some miles in before the end of the week.

I keep all of my race bibs and have them all on a corkboard in my closet to keep me motivated.  I recently ran the Nike + Women's Half Marathon with Wendy and as it was a virtual race, we did not receive race bibs.  Lucky for me, she is incredibly artistic and made me the coolest/most thoughtful gift:

It's really awesome and it's actually on fabric.  It's a great way to commemorate the race that we ran together and my current half marathon PR!

This weekend I will be trying snowboarding for the first time ever (okay, the little hills in Illinois with a snowboard from Target don't count).  We are going up north and it should be a blast.  We will be taking a lesson to hopefully prevent too much injury!  I'm not a big fan of wintertime so I'm hoping that this makes me like it a little bit more :)

  3. Tried snowboarding once. Fell approx. 457485 times within 200 yards. So I stick to skiing.

  4. I've been sick this week too. It stinks :( LOVE that bib! Totally cool! It was a fun race to do! I ran it too :)
