Snowboarding!

We went snowboarding this weekend and it was awesome!  The mountain wasn't crowded at all since we went on Monday and we were the only two in our lesson so it was basically a private lesson for the price of a group!  Yay!

I quickly learned that snowboarding is a lot harder than it looks!  After falling down about a million times, I was finally able to go down the bunny hill without falling!  We had a beautiful day full of sunshine and a temperature in the upper 30's.  It was great!
Taking a break from falling down :)
By the end of the day, I was extremely wiped out and just wanted to lay in the snow...
fully sums up how I felt
Snowboarding is definitely something I'd like to try again but next time I might want to wear knee pads!  Everyone was incredibly friendly and supportive, which was great.  I don't know if I will get to go again this year but I look forward to the next time!

In other news, I hardly ran at all last week because I was sick but I will get my miles back up this week where they should be.  I found a new apartment over the weekend and will be moving at the end of March.  It's a nice place and I look forward to getting all settled in!

I ended January with 70 miles!  Yay!

What was your workout for the day?  I am getting ready to do my yoga video!

  4. New follower here! I actually like snowboarding better than skiing (not saying I'm good at EITHER!) I like the security of being strapped in. My workout for the day was a simple 2 miler with a JM dvd...fun stuff. Look foward to reading more.
